Trevor Matthew Niles passed away suddenly on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at the age of 35. He had battled depression for many years.


Trevor is survived by his wife, Katie Niles (Gaylord); children, Mackenzie and Luke Niles; parents, Karen and Bruce Niles; brother, Ryan Niles; grandmothers, Helen Larson and Betty Niles; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Trevor is predeceased by grandfathers, Lou Larson and Bob Niles.

Trevor was born March 12, 1982 in Washington, D.C. He graduated from McLean High School in 2000 and James Madison University in 2004 with a degree in Marketing. While working at Enexi, he had advanced to Project Manager over the last 12 years. On November 10, 2012 he married Katie and on September 3, 2014 and January 31, 2017 respectively he welcomed his two beautiful children, who were the most important part of his life.


Along with watching and playing soccer, Trevor had a love for history, reading, going to baseball games, the lake and relaxing with his friends while having a beer. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.


A funeral service is scheduled for 2pm on Saturday, September 23rd at Murphy Funeral Homes, 1102 West Broad St. Falls Church, VA 22046 to be immediately followed by a reception at Irelands Four Provinces, 105 West Broad St. Falls Church, VA 22046. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP).
